Because I am not in the fashion of waiting let me give you a heads up on happy hour. CPC's presentation of Happy Hour every thursday is one of the last traces of memory that one may be able to associate with what used to be the RAT. Though I have never been on campus to see the funtioning of the RAT (the old campus bar) I feel that this University is suffering from a lack of classically collegiate style traditions. Yes we have glow sticks, convocation, WILD, Holi-- the list goes on, but all of these events are manufactured by WU in order to present an appearance of College. This campus has become simply a marketing sceme, a real college expereince is difficult to come by here at WU. Though this is slightly divergent from the topic at hand I think it is important to point out that while Happy Hour is not used by all because we are not all 21, I look forward to the day when I can walk down to Bowles Plaza, flash my ID and drink free beer with my friends on the University's dime. It is hight time for the re-establishment of the RAT and for that matter, more true college traditions/experiences. I would love to see a WU not perfectly orchestrated for April Welcome but one designed for the student who currently attends. WU stop appealing to the high school Junior and pay attention to your current residents.

Off topic but it should be said...
